Actions, Results, and Inspiration

With the launch of this blog, I'm initiating something that I expect to be productive and enjoyable for my readers and for me.

Blogging like this for my company Purple Husky is actually contrary to my nature, as I've never been great at self promotion. Many years ago when I worked at Mattel, my boss gave me a glowing review with one big criticism -- that I was reluctant to "toot my own horn" and promote myself. I have always aggressively and successfully promoted my products, the companies for whom I have worked, and my employees and colleagues, but bragging about myself doesn't come naturally to me at all. Consistent with the way I have always approached my work as an employee and as a consultant, I hope to have my actions and results speak for themselves, and let the playful disposition of a husky dog serves as inspiration for my readers just as it does for me.
